We’re hiring a confident and motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our Lafayette team. In this role, you’ll be the face of Pelican Roofing — connecting with homeowners, guiding them through insurance claims, and helping them restore or improve their homes after storm damage.
Your Responsibilities
- Represent Pelican Roofing with potential clients and guide them through the sales and insurance process
- Investigate weather-related damage in neighborhoods and act as the first point of contact for property owners Contact past customers to discuss future needs and build continued trust
- Build a referral network through exceptional customer experiences and positive relationships
- Attend networking and marketing events to develop visibility and leads
- Conduct roof inspections using ladders and mobile devices
- Participate in regular training and professional development to sharpen your sales skills
- Help homeowners understand their roofing needs and restoration options

Qualifications:
- Experience in sales or customer service
- High-achieving, ambitious, and results-oriented
- Decisive and confident in closing sales
- Able to build rapport quickly and find common ground with homeowners
- Willing to learn roofing systems and storm damage assessment
- Emotionally intelligent and able to stay focused through obstacles
- Comfortable adjusting to changing situations and keeping momentum
- Familiar with CRM tools, office tech, and mobile sales apps
- Organized and able to follow structured processes
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable using a ladder for basic roof inspections

Schedule: Monday to Friday, weekends as needed
