Shop Assistant; Onsite: Lafayette, LA

The Shop Assistant working under direct supervision provides labor and semiskilled support to service supervisors, operators, specialists, mechanics, or repairers in the operation and maintenance of equipment and tools.

• Pay Rate:Up to $23.00/hour, depending on experience
• Assignment Length: 2-year contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.

• Assist in the operation and maintenance of equipment and tools.
• Drive hot-shot equipment as required.
• Start and monitor designated equipment.
• Perform routine rig-up or clean-up labor at the well site or at the warehouse/service center.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in equipment maintenance.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
