Salary Range: $20.00 To $25.00 Annually

Job Description :
The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the community at all times. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of maintenance related experience including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. Weekend availability and call out time on a rotating basis is required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Apartment make ready process for vacant units
• Completion of assigned work orders for repairs and improvements
• Appliance repairs, plumbing, electrical, some HVAC, carpentry, locks and sheetrock maintenance and repair duties
• Property and vacant unit inspections
• Use of basic hand tools and power tools
• Assist with keeping the parts and storage areas organized and secured
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as needed
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of apartment/multi-family experience
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance specific experience
• Customer service oriented
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills+
