Plant Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a Plant Maintenance Mechanic to support the reliable operation of mechanical systems in an industrial plant environment. This hands-on position is ideal for someone with experience in mechanical maintenance who is committed to safety, quality, and teamwork.

What You'll Do

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, compressors, and related systems.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and replace or repair defective components.
• Lubricate machinery, change oils, replace bearings and seals, and perform routine maintenance.
• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of larger mechanical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Work collaboratively with maintenance personnel to complete repairs and improve equipment reliability.
• Respond to equipment failures and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and maintenance standards.

Work Environment

This position is performed in an industrial setting and may require:

• Working around machinery, moving equipment, and mechanical systems.
• Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, chemicals, and confined spaces.
• Climbing ladders, lifting equipment, and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Availability for occasional overtime, emergency repairs, or on-call assignments.

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience performing mechanical maintenance in an industrial, manufacturing, utility, or similar environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to safely use hand and power tools.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

Technical training in industrial maintenance or mechanical trades.

Experience working with pumps, compressors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, boilers, or rotating equipment.
