Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic with strong experience in inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines, heavy-duty trucks, buses, and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial vehicles in a fleet, dealership, or service environment.

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, drive trains, electrical systems, brakes, and other vehicle components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled repairs to ensure vehicle reliability and reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools, service manuals, and technical documentation.
• Repair and maintain heavy-duty trucks, buses, and related equipment.
• Complete repair orders and accurately document all work performed.
• Identify required parts and communicate repair needs and timelines with service teams.
• Perform inspections and safety checks to ensure vehicles meet quality standards.
• Respond to service needs, including occasional road calls when required.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following company safety procedures.

• Hands-on experience working on heavy-duty trucks, buses, or heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Experience with diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, and drivetrain components.
• Ability to use diagnostic software, tools, and service manuals.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a commercial service environment.
