The Technician role is a full‑time hybrid position based in the Lafayette, Louisiana Metropolitan Area, with some flexibility for work‑from‑home tasks such as documentation, scheduling, and customer communication. On‑site responsibilities include assisting with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and retail‑related equipment; performing basic inspections; and supporting senior team members with hands‑on work. The Technician will help maintain inventory, prepare orders, and ensure that tools and materials are organized and safely stored.

Daily tasks also involve responding to customer inquiries, documenting service activities, and following company procedures and safety standards. The role requires collaboration with colleagues, timely completion of assigned work, and a consistent focus on safe, efficient, and customer‑oriented service.

• Foundational technical aptitude with an interest in electrical or mechanical systems, and ability to learn company‑specific tools and processes.
• Strong attention to detail for documenting work, following instructions, and maintaining accurate records of service and inventory.
• Solid communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Ability to work safely in a hands‑on environment, including following safety guidelines and using PPE as required.
• Basic computer literacy for scheduling, recordkeeping, and remote tasks; familiarity with email and standard office software.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing time effectively in a hybrid work setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training, trade school, or prior experience in electrical, retail, or field service environments is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on‑site work within the Lafayette, Louisiana Metropolitan Area.
