Service Now Developer – AI-Assisted Development

CGI is seeking a Service Now Developer to support technology initiatives within a financial services environment. This role will focus on designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining Service Now applications and workflows, with an emphasis on using AI assisted development tools to improve delivery speed, code quality, and automation. We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years!.

This role is located at a client site in Lafayette, LA, Knoxville, TX or Columbia, SC. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

The ideal candidate will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and platform owners to enhance Service Now capabilities, support integrations, and contribute to scalable solutions in an AWS heavy enterprise environment. This role requires strong hands on Service Now development experience, comfort working in regulated environments, and the ability to translate business needs into reliable technical solutions.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role include: 5+ years of hands on experience developing and configuring Service Now applications, modules, workflows, forms, and business rules. Strong understanding of Service Now scripting, including JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer. Experience supporting Service Now integrations with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, or similar tools.

Familiarity with AI assisted development tools and the ability to use them responsibly to accelerate coding, testing, documentation, or troubleshooting. Working knowledge of ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service Catalog. Experience in cloud based environments, preferably AWS heavy enterprise ecosystems. Ability to work in a financial services or other highly regulated environment with strong attention to security, auditability, and compliance.

Comfortable collaborating with business users, architects, QA teams, and Dev Ops teams to deliver maintainable platform solutions. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex workflow or integration issues. Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non technical audiences.

Desired Skillset:
Current Service Now Developer Certification preferred. ITIL certification is not explicitly required, but knowledge of ITSM, ITIL, and CMDB is expected.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Compensation range for this role in the U.S. is $95,700.00 - $.
