We are seeking a skilled Golang Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Go programming, microservices architecture, and cloud-based environments. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build high‑performance, reliable, and secure applications. This role is located in our Lafayette, LA office (Hybrid).

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Golang.
• Build efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Develop RESTful APIs and/or gRPC services.
• Participate in system architecture and design decisions.
• Develop scalable and distributed systems.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Build and maintain microservices‑based architecture.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and internal services.
• Work with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
• Design and manage databases (SQL/No
  
  SQL such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Write efficient queries and ensure data integrity.
• Optimize database performance.
• Deploy applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization.
• Collaborate with Dev Ops teams on CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and improve application performance.
• Identify bottlenecks and fix scalability issues.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Follow coding standards, version control, and documentation practices.

• 8+ years of IT experience with 3–5 years in architecture/consulting roles.
• Strong proficiency in Golang (Go) with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience with REST APIs / gRPC.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with SQL/No
  
  SQL databases.
• Understanding of concurrency (go routines, channels).
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of event‑driven architecture.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with high‑load or distributed systems.
