The EDI EDIFECS Application Developer will design, develop, and integrate solutions to meet business and technical requirements across EDI applications. The role requires strong coding skills, problem-solving ability, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain high quality software.
- Write clean, secure, efficient, and modular code.
- Improve existing application code and ensure high unit test coverage.
- Identify potential problems and resolve application bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Quality Engineers, Scrum Masters, and Software Engineers on the team as well as external teams to deliver value to customers.
- Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies, industry trends and standards.
- Provide mentoring to junior engineers.
- 7+ years of software development experience with a successful track record of production-ready solutions.
- Deep understanding of database schema design, optimization, scalability.
- Experience with MySQL, Teradata, MongoDB.
- Experience with continuous integration and source code control such as Git Lab, Git Hub, TFS.
- Proficient in EDI applications:
Edifecs v9.1, Biz Talk 2016, SSIS, and components. - Working knowledge of X12N transactions, HL7 messages, and FHIR.
- Experience with WCF, Web Services, Java, C#, .NET framework, SQL/SSIS development related to EDI.
- Experience with API Apps, API Management Portal.
- Experience with Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (VSTFS), MS SQL Server 2012/2014/2016.
- Experience with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and SCOM.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Passion for technology, coding, and problem solving.
- Ability to work independently and in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB.
- Experience with Scrum/SAFe Agile Framework.
- Experience with Jenkins.
