Warehouse Associate

Overview

Grid source is looking for a full-time Warehouse Associate in Lafayette, LA
. Direct Hire

Job Summary: Will handle all day-to-day warehouse activities including but not limited to inventory and good record keeping, loading and unloading all shipments/contractors, keeping the warehouse and yard clean, washing and cleaning trucks/trailers when needed. Deliver materials/equipment to the field, help supervisors with light duty tasks when needed, must have a positive attitude and show up M-F at designated times. Possible weekend work from time to time.

Must be able to use a forklift. CDL is a plus.

• Keep warehouse and yard clean
• Wash & clean trucks / trailers when needed
• Deliver materials / equipment to the field
• Help supervisors with light duty tasks when needed
• Receive and process warehouse materials (pick, unload, label, store)
• Drive box truck multiple times a week to pick up material from Cox warehouse
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, & regulations
• Other duties as assigned

• Valid Driver’s License

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook, in particular)
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• A positive attitude and willingness to take on various tasks to support the team
