Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (Mids)

LaFollette, TN | Acute Care

Contract | 13 Weeks | Mid Shift (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM) | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a 14-bed Emergency Department with a 1:7 patient ratio
• Deliver mid-shift coverage from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM with no on-call requirements
• Document and manage patient records using First Net (Cerner EMR)
• Follow a block schedule; time-off requests must be submitted within the submission packet (RTO blackout in effect for Christmas)
• Adhere to department dress code — royal blue scrubs required
• No floating to other units; no 48-hour shifts

• Active RN licensure (applicable to state of practice)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NRP certification required
• CPI certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience with direct patient care
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
• Familiarity with First Net or Cerner EMR platforms
• Experience working in high-acuity, fast-paced ED environments

• Stable 13-week contract with an expected consistent mid-shift schedule and no floating or on-call obligations
• Work in a focused ED environment with a defined patient ratio and clear unit expectations
