Maintenance Technician / Team Leader
Deerfield Vacation Rentals is a leading vacation rental management company based in Deerfield Resort, a luxury lake community in Lafollette, on Norris Lake.
We are looking for Maintenance All-Stars-skilled craftsmen who take pride in their work and want to be part of a progressive, team-oriented culture that rewards excellence.

- Top Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour (Earn $50k - $75k+ with bonuses).

Leadership tracks available; we are currently hiring for 2-3 positions, one of them being a Team Leader role.
As a Maintenance Technician, there is no "typical day." One day, you may be running maintenance work orders and fixing things, the next day you may be doing a bathroom remodel. Your work will be greatly appreciated by the property Owners (most of whom live outside the area) for taking care of their vacation home and investment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Versatile Repairs:
Complete work orders ranging from plumbing and electrical to HVAC, painting, and drywall. - Property Advocacy:
Conduct proactive inspections to identify and resolve issues before they escalate. - Craftsmanship:
Perform remodeling, upgrades, and general repairs in a workmanlike, efficient manner. - Digital Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of work and parts using industry-leading software (Type 25+ WPM required). - Customer Excellence:
Provide professional, friendly communication to residents and staff.
Qualifications:
We welcome HVAC techs, electricians, plumbers, and carpenters who are ready to expand their skill sets.
- Experience:
Minimum 3 years in residential property repairs and 2 years in a professional trades company - Trade
Skills:
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of residential systems; HVAC certification preferred. - Tech Savvy:
Ability to use smartphone applications and basic computer software. - Mindset: A "solutions, not problems" attitude and a commitment to doing the job right the first time.
- Physical:
Ability to lift 50 lbs and maintain a variety of basic personal tools (consumables provided). - Leadership (For Team Leader): 2+ years experience coaching or managing other technicians.
