Supervising Physician – Urgent Care (Georgia)
Position Title: Supervising Physician – Urgent Care
Location: Georgia (Remote supervision with availability during clinic hours)
Specialty Preferred: Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine
Position Type: Contract / Part-Time Supervisory Role
Position OverviewWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Supervising Physician to support our urgent care clinic in Georgia. This role requires oversight of clinical care, including chart review and provider consultation, in accordance with Georgia Composite Medical Board and clinic policies. The Supervising Physician will collaborate with advanced practice providers to ensure high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide physician supervision for urgent care clinical services in accordance with Georgia Composite Medical Board
- Conduct timely chart reviews to ensure documentation and treatment meet board and clinic standards
- Be available for consultation and clinical guidance during clinic operating hours
- Support quality assurance, clinical best practices, and protocol adherence
- Participate in periodic review of clinic policies, procedures, and provider performance as needed
- Active, unrestricted Georgia Medical License
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in one of the following specialties:
- Urgent Care Medicine
- Emergency Medicine
- Family Medicine
- Internal Medicine
- Prior urgent care or emergency clinical experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Georgia supervision requirements and documentation standards
- Strong communication and collaborative leadership skills
- Must be accessible for provider consultation during clinic hours
- Chart review responsibilities performed on a routine basis per board guidelines
Competitive and commensurate with experience. Contract terms negotiable.
