Hillside Montessori provides a nurturing environment in which children are encouraged to develop their intrinsic desire to explore and learn. We have a beautiful, new campus on 13.5 acres of field and forest.

Every square foot of our school was designed to serve the child and the Montessori guides.

We strive to build a diverse community of learners and to recognize the uniqueness of each child. We are seeking candidates for a Montessori Primary Lead Guide for the  Academic year. The Montessori Primary Lead Guide will work closely with their classroom’s assistant guide in an environment prepared for students who are three to six years of age as well as working closely with the other members of the Hillside team to support the mission and vision of the school by providing an instructional program that supports the individual needs of each child.

• Holds an AMS, AMI or MACTE Montessori Credential for Early Childhood or entering the internship year of Montessori training - or- is eligible to begin training for a Montessori credential
• Has experience working in a Montessori classroom
  -or- is eligible to begin internship
• Has experience communicating, orally and in writing, to parents.
• Is in alignment with the school's mission and vision statements.

This is a ten-month full time position with benefits including health insurance options, retirement plan options, professional development, paid time off, and paid school closures. The daily hours are from 8:00AM to 4:00PM. Teachers report directly to the HoS.
