Wellstar Health System - - - Responsibilities:
Supports patient-centered care and collaborates with the healthcare team to execute the plan of care;
Performs basic patient care tasks including hygiene, nutrition, elimination, and physical comfort measures;
Assists with advanced skills as unit requires (e.g., phlebotomy, EKG, removal of Foley catheters) and transports supplies and medications;
Documents patient care in the EMR and communicates patient care concerns to the RN or Charge Nurse in a timely manner;
Participates in hourly patient rounds and upholds Safety, HIPAA/privacy, and infection control practices
