The Certified Medical Dosimetrist is a key member of the Radiation Oncology planning team. This role involves developing radiation treatment plans by calculating and generating precise dose distributions under the direction of the Radiation Oncology Physicist and Radiation Oncologists. The dosimetrist applies detailed knowledge of radiation equipment and radioactive sources to support safe and effective patient care.
Certified Medical Dosimetrist – Radiation OncologyLocation:
LaGrange, GA
Shift:
- Days
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 8 hours/day | 40 hours/week
- Generate and calculate radiation dose distributions for treatment planning
- Utilize radiation therapy planning systems and dosimetry software
- Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicists
- Ensure accuracy and safety of treatment plans in accordance with clinical standards
- Support departmental operations as directed by the Department Manager
- Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD)
OR
ARRT-T (Radiation Therapy) - Minimum 1 year of dosimetry experience
- Experience in Radiation Oncology treatment planning
