Occupational Therapist – Acute Care in Lagrange, GA.

Start date:

08/10/2026. This 13-week travel assignment provides 36 hours per week, with daytime, 12-hour shifts (3 shifts per week). The role is in an acute care setting and offers a weekly pay range of $1,626–$1,678. All assignments emphasize regulatory compliance and quality, with patient-centered rehabilitation to restore independence in activities of daily living and functional mobility.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to restore or improve function in ADLs, functional mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion for patients with disease or injury.
  • Deliver services across the full continuum of care in a cost-conscious, quality-focused, patient-centered manner.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards and documentation requirements.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, progress, and prognosis; monitor progress and adjust goals accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records of interventions, progress, and outcomes; communicate changes to supervising clinicians.
Requirements
  • Active Occupational Therapist license or eligibility as required in the practicing jurisdiction.
  • Graduate of an accredited OT program; degree appropriate for professional practice.
  • Experience in acute care or hospital-based rehabilitation settings preferred.
  • Ability to work daytime, 12-hour shifts; 36 hours per week.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills; commitment to regulatory compliance and patient-centered care.
