Position OverviewThe Maintenance Supervisor oversees all production and facility equipment, ensuring preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs are completed to keep the facility in optimal condition. This role includes supervising the daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring equipment performance meets production requirements, and supporting parts room operations and purchasing approvals.
Key Responsibilities- Oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department in a 3 shift 7 day operation.
- Supervises multi shift maintenance staff, including staffing recommendations, maintaining and approving schedules, approving time off requests, administering discipline, and performing reviews of maintenance technicians.
- Monitors production efficiencies via electronic (Ignition) and other means and coordinates maintenance technician activities to provide short- and long-term improvement.
- Directs and performs electrical, electronic, mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting repairs on various production equipment.
- Directs and participates in the installation of machinery and equipment.
- Utilizes CMMS for documentation of daily work, PMs, parts issuance.
- Ensures a positive work environment aligned with Trinidad Benham's values, corporate policies and procedures, and government rules and regulations.
- Provides required training and other company initiatives.
- Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures, and other company safety and administrative policies.
- Primary contact for maintenance; ideally spends 75% of work time on the plant floor.
- Interacts frequently with all maintenance employees and is able to work a flexible schedule.
- Some but minimal travel may be required.

Qualifications- Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience
- Minimum of two (2) years as a supervisor or equivalent experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical experience
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving skills and detail oriented
- Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed
- Ability to plan maintenance schedules
- Excellent management and supervisory skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Flexibility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
