General Labor

As a General Laborer
, you will be responsible for operating a sit-down Forklift to move pallets and other materials throughout the warehouse/dock, supporting production requirements in those areas, as well as loading and unloading customer trailers. You will also be responsible for hand sorting, stacking and repairing pallets that weigh 50lbs or more.

$17.50/hr.

Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 4:00pm - 2:30am

LaGrange, GA 30241

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment
• Forklifts must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times
• Hand-sorting wooden pallets, when required
• Repairing wooden pallets using a nail gun, when required
• Maintain a clean & safe working environment

• 1-3 years of forklift experience (sit-down propane lift preferred)
• Forklift certification preferred
• Frequently lift 50lbs+ by hand
• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred
• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment
• Ability to communicate effectively

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
• Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a forklift for entire shifts of varying lengths
• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs
