* Position summary:

** It is the responsibility of the stackers to insure first quality packing and proper separation of colors and styles, as well as proper yardage amounts in each box.

* Educational requirements:

*** High school diploma or GED
*
* Skills and experience:

*** Good communication skills, written and verbal
* Previous manufacturing experience preferred
** Essential duties:
*** Place proper amount of tiles in boxes according to boxing specifications
* Insure that all tiles are flat and square in box.
* Stack pallets of carpet tile for bin box shipments when scheduled
* Check run schedules for special packaging or stack-off instructions
* Process boxes through the box machine insuring proper sealing without
* box damage.
* Insure that box machine is clean and in proper working order
* Be alert for quality defects such as short cut and bevels prior to boxing
* Move all off-quality tiles to the reinspection table.
* Maintain housekeeping
* Comply with safety rules
* Comply with environmental regulations
* Be aware of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
* Ensure ISO procedures are followed.
* Understand and support the Interface commitment to sustainability.
* Perform other duties as assigned
** Physical demands:
*** Standing throughout 8-10 hour shift
* Lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
