- Maintain and organize work area, practice 5 S principles.
- Operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing equipment and assembly to meet production targets.
- Participate in production and productivity meetings.
- Set up tools and machines for specific production runs and assembly.
- Inspect components and finished product for quality, recording measurement, and pass/fail criteria.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
- Document production data, scrap, downtime, and process deviations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred experience in manufacturing or production, or assembly.
- Basic mechanical skills: working with hand tools, measurement devices, etc.
- Familiar with safety protocols, and PPE.
Work Environment:
This position is based in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, moving equipment and other standard industrial conditions, and is required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Physical Demands:
Positions in this function typically require standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, speaking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. - Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves close accuracy and visual awareness.
- Compliance with company attendance standards.
Incumbents may be subjected to moving tow motors, electrical currents, glue, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions.
