Dye Mixer-3rd Shift

Accurately weigh, measure, and mix dyes, pigments, chemicals, and additives according to established formulas and production specifications.

Prepare color batches for the Zimmer machine while ensuring color accuracy and consistency.

Monitor dye viscosity, pH, and other required properties to meet quality standards.

Deliver mixed batches to production in a timely manner to minimize machine downtime.

Maintain detailed records of formulas, batch numbers, material usage, and inventory.

Assist with color matching and make adjustments as directed by Quality Control or Production Management.

Clean and sanitize mixing tanks, containers, pumps, hoses, and related equipment between batches.

Inspect raw materials for quality and notify supervisors of any discrepancies or shortages.

Follow all safety procedures when handling dyes, chemicals, and hazardous materials, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Maintain an organized, clean, and safe mixing area following 5S and housekeeping standards.

Communicate effectively with Zimmer machine operators, quality personnel, and supervisors regarding production needs and color changes.

Assist with inventory counts and restocking of dyes, chemicals, and mixing supplies.

Perform other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous manufacturing or industrial mixing experience preferred.

Experience with Zimmer coating or printing equipment is highly preferred.

Basic math skills with the ability to accurately calculate weights, measurements, and percentages.

Ability to read and interpret production schedules, work orders, formulas, and safety information.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent, high-quality products.

Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
