REPORTS TO:

Department Manager / Supervisor

POSITION OVERVIEW

Re-inspector is responsible for re-grading fabric to specifications. Detect all off quality characteristics and report them by documentation.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow all department safety rules.
• Check lab for inspection cards for printers blanket inspection and steamer/trimmer.
• Do reports for shift supervisor.
• Do panoptes for Range 6.
• Get supplies for Debatching/Inspection.
• Run any off quality rolls as needed.
• Update off quality in MESr for SIB, airbag and printers blanket.
• Run leader when needed.
• Run tables when needed.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Production Manager, Senior Production Manager and Shift Supervisors as necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to be certified to operate mobile equipment
• Ability to use computer

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• GED or High School Diploma

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to read and write
• The ability to perform basic math calculations
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to comprehend written/verbal instruction
• Ability to adhere to all plant safety specifications
• Ability to work as a team member with little supervision

1. Standing :
Ability to stand while working 80 % of day

  Ability to move throughout plant: 15 % of day
• Lifting: Ability tolift upto
  30lbs creel bars 10 % of day
• Ascending/Descending: Ability to walk upstairs 10 % of day
• Push/Pull/Reach: Ability to push/pull fabric rolls,A-frames (approx.

1500lbs), reach + 18 inches while sewing seams and creeling 10% of day

• Bending: Ability to bend or stoop while performing job tasks 10 % of day
• Visual Acuity: Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties,

including reading information from printed sources and

computer screens. 100% of day

9. Cognitive: Alert. Able to make decisions, reason, and understand

information. 100% of day

WORK ENVIRONMENT/SAFETY-SENSITIVE POSITION

This job operates in a manufacturing facility. This position is a safety-sensitive position and regularly works around moving mechanical parts and powered industrial vehicles. Noise level is generally loud. Temperatures can be more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Humidity level can be more than 98% for 100% of day.

SHIFT/WORK HOURS

Shift schedule will depend on open positions at time of hire and will be communicated with new hire paperwork. Weekends and holidays are scheduled depending on business demands.
