Description:
Join a fast-paced Emergency Department where teamwork, patient advocacy, and evidence-based practice are at the core of care delivery. As an Emergency Department RN, you’ll be part of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, and individualized care to patients across the lifespan.
This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in critical situations, communicate effectively, and are passionate about delivering exceptional emergency care.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and manage care using the nursing process
- Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered emergency nursing care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment plans
- Advocate for patients and families while maintaining safety and confidentiality standards
- Accurately document patient conditions, interventions, and outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement, shared governance, and professional development initiatives
- Precept and support nursing staff as needed
Requirements
- ADN or Nursing Diploma required
- BSN preferred
- Active RN license (Single State or Compact)
- BLS (AHA or Red Cross)
- ACLS (provisional accepted within 90 days)
- PALS (provisional accepted within 180 days)
- TNCC or ATCN (provisional accepted within 18 months)
