Day in the Life of a LPN/RN
Follow policies and procedures to correctly identify patients and administer medication per the medical providers orders.
Dispense daily and take-home medication at the dosing window.
Coordinate care with clinical and medical staff for continuity of patient care.
Maintain and complete accurate patient documentation including assessing for impairment.
Ensuring medication count is accurate and completed daily.
Follow compliance policies and procedures around documentation practices and expectations.
Participate in nursing team meetings and cross treatment meetings.
Connecting with patients, offering true empathy and a listening ear to those struggling.
Education and Experience RequirementsLicensed Practical or Registered Nurse License issued in the state in which they will be practicing or a multi-state compact status license.
License should be in good standing, unencumbered, and active. If applicable, disciplinary actions documented on any license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
3+ years of nursing experience is preferred.
Strong phlebotomy skills, experience drawing blood on collapsed veins is a plus.
Active and current CPR or BLS certification is preferred.
ScheduleMonday-Friday; 4:45am–1:00pm
Rotating Saturday; 5:30am–10:30am

Consistent schedule. Early in time and out time, no 12 hour shifts nor is there a 2nd or 3rd shift. You will also never be on call
Small nursing team. Depending on patient census, teams can range anywhere from 2-12
