Day in the Life of a LPN/RN
  • Follow policies and procedures to correctly identify patients and administer medication per the medical provider’s orders.
  • Dispense daily and take‑home medication during the dosing window.
  • Coordinate care with clinical and medical staff to ensure continuity of patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation, including assessments for impairment.
  • Ensure medication counts are accurate and completed daily.
  • Follow compliance policies and procedures around documentation practices and expectations.
  • Participate in nursing team meetings and cross‑treatment meetings.
  • Connect with patients, offering empathy and a listening ear to those struggling.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Licensed Practical or Registered Nurse license issued in the state in which you will practice or a multi‑state compact status license. License must be in good standing, unencumbered, and active.
  • Disciplinary actions documented on any license will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis.
  • Three or more years of nursing experience preferred.
  • Strong phlebotomy skills; experience drawing blood from collapsed veins is a plus.
  • Active and current CPR or BLS certification preferred.
Schedule
  • Monday‑Friday: 4:45am–1:00pm
  • Rotating Saturday: 5:30am–10:30am
