Day in the Life of a LPN/RN- Follow policies and procedures to correctly identify patients and administer medication per the medical provider’s orders.
- Dispense daily and take‑home medication during the dosing window.
- Coordinate care with clinical and medical staff to ensure continuity of patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation, including assessments for impairment.
- Ensure medication counts are accurate and completed daily.
- Follow compliance policies and procedures around documentation practices and expectations.
- Participate in nursing team meetings and cross‑treatment meetings.
- Connect with patients, offering empathy and a listening ear to those struggling.
- Licensed Practical or Registered Nurse license issued in the state in which you will practice or a multi‑state compact status license. License must be in good standing, unencumbered, and active.
- Disciplinary actions documented on any license will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis.
- Three or more years of nursing experience preferred.
- Strong phlebotomy skills; experience drawing blood from collapsed veins is a plus.
- Active and current CPR or BLS certification preferred.
- Monday‑Friday: 4:45am–1:00pm
- Rotating Saturday: 5:30am–10:30am
- 1‑on‑1 care with a small nursing team (2–12)
- Consistent schedule – no 12‑hour shifts, no second or third shift, never on call
