Quality Manager
Location:
LaGrange, GA (On-Site)
Our client is an established, employee‑owned manufacturer in the food-safe packaging industry, producing high‑volume products for major retail, food service, and industrial channels. The facility is in a strong growth phase, with recent production expansion and new lines being added, while maintaining a highly tenured workforce and stable operations. This role is critical in upholding quality standards, ensuring audit success, and supporting compliance across a fast‑paced, evolving plant environment.
QualificationSummary
- 8–10 years of quality experience in a manufacturing or production environment required; HACCP, ISO, or SQF Practitioner experience preferred.
- $95,000 – $115,000 base salary
- 5% annual bonus opportunity

- Oversee quality of incoming materials, production processes, and finished goods
- Maintain certifications including SQF, FSC, Kosher, and required documentation
- Prepare for and support internal and external audits to ensure compliance
- Partner with production, vendors, and customers to resolve quality issues
- Serve as HACCP team member and SQF Practitioner for the facility
- Support food safety programs and continuous improvement across operations
- 8–10 years of quality experience in manufacturing or production environments
- Working knowledge of HACCP, ISO, SQF, or similar standards
- Ability to perform in a fast‑paced setting with shifting priorities
- Understanding of mechanical equipment and plant operations
- Advanced Excel skills with strong overall computer proficiency
- Strong communication skills and ability to make decisions independently
