Maintenance Technician- 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work independently as necessary.
• This position may involve travel to Mountville branch locations.
• Install, troubleshoot and repair equipment (including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic and hydraulic systems) such as mills, industrial carpet printers, HVAC, pumps, motors, etc.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out procedures when necessary.
• Devise, fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components for industrial machinery or equipment and measuring instruments.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, and material‑handling equipment in performing duties.
• Initiate corrective and preventive action within the scope of your responsibility.
• Use a CMMS system to track and gather information on maintenance activities.
• Keep the work area and tools clean and orderly.

• Ability to travel to other branch locations, sometimes on short notice.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience.
• One year of industrial maintenance experience is required.
• Mechanical ability to complete tasks such as replacing motors, repairing plumbing issues, etc.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Capable of working flexible hours, overtime when necessary.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic Windows and Microsoft Office knowledge desired.
  • Experience with CMMS software.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Communicate effectively with other employees, departments and branches.
