Schedule:

12‑hour night shift following a 2x2x3 schedule (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, etc.)

Duracell is seeking an E&I plant technician as a member of a work team. E&I technician work teams are responsible for keeping production flowing, continuously updating and training to increase their skills to meet our ever‑changing production needs, meeting performance standards goals, and maintaining the high level of quality in everything they do.

• Makes electrical repairs to run high‑speed equipment
• Executes planned maintenance tasks
• Performs preventive/predictive maintenance on equipment
• Gets involved, takes charge of situations, and confronts business‑related problems
• Displays electrical skills in manufacturing processes, including operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated equipment
• Maintains accurate records and data

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
• Must have Electrical Technical School / Military equivalent or 2+ years industrial electrical experience
• Must be low‑voltage qualified or have the ability to do so within the first month of onboarding
• Need to have exposure to automated controls systems in a high‑speed application
• Strong technical, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills; and knowledge of PLC controls and computers
• Use basic hand and power tools
• Lift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders, and platforms
• Twist, turn and bend; and stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time
