Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Heavy Lift Rigging Specialist (Construction)

Step into a day on our Hogansville, GA jobsite

Sunup starts with a walk-around. You power up the cranes, forklifts, and hoists, checking each hook, chain, and control for perfect function. A quick huddle with the site supervisor maps out the lift plan- what moves first, what staging is needed, and how traffic will flow. Then the work begins: relocating steel, positioning formwork, setting equipment, and keeping the site moving safely and efficiently.

Throughout the day, you document your inspections and lifts, keep equipment in peak condition, and flag anything that needs attention- because on a heavy-lift crew, safety and precision come first.

What you'll handle
  • Run and maneuver cranes, forklifts, and hoists to position and transport heavy loads on active construction sites.
  • Complete pre-use inspections and ensure all lifting gear meets applicable safety standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors and teammates to plan, sequence, and execute lifts efficiently.
  • Uphold all safety protocols to maintain a zero-incident work environment.
  • Perform routine care and basic maintenance on lifting equipment to maximize uptime.
  • Support loading and unloading of trucks and organize materials in laydown and storage areas.
  • Keep accurate, timely records of lift activities and equipment inspections.
  • Immediately report malfunctions, hazards, or near-misses to management.
What you bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in heavy-lift operations preferred.
  • Steel-toed work boots worn for the full shift.
  • Demonstrated experience operating heavy lifting equipment on construction projects.
  • Solid knowledge of jobsite safety practices and regulatory guidelines.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced schedules and shifting priorities.
  • Clear communicator and dependable team player.
  • Physical strength and stamina for material handling and equipment operation.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
