Position InformationSearching for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor with either automobile or heavy-duty diesel dealership experience. Five+ years of experience required.
As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for the daily administration and operation of the warehouse. You will oversee the operations of the warehouse including receipt, storage, and shipment of materials. You will ensure the accuracy of the inventory. You will also assist with supervision, training, and coaching of the parts drivers. All employees are expected to be friendly, professional, and efficient, offering the highest level of service to our customers.
You will act as the back‑up parts delivery driver as needed.
This position reports to the Branch Manager, is a 40‑hour a week position and is eligible for overtime. To qualify for our Warehouse Supervisor position, you must have a high‑school diploma or equivalent, read and comprehend instructions and information, possess a valid driver's license, and have a driving record that meets our criteria. You will be required to obtain and maintain a DOT Driver Medical Certification, be trained on our procedures and computer inventory system, and dress professionally while communicating well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts.
One year of previous supervisory experience at a parts warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
The Warehouse Supervisor position is physically demanding. You will occasionally need to fill in as a parts driver, which includes driving a company‑provided vehicle six to eight hours per shift. Traffic conditions may result in extended hours on occasion. You will lift and transport up to 50 pounds several times a day, and you will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and non‑hazardous materials.
May operate a forklift.
