Position Description
Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in LaGrange, GA – offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.
Weekly pay: $1650 or more per week. Pay structure includes base hourly pay of $24.00 per hour, shift pay of $0.50 per hour, and a safety bonus of $250 paid four times a year. Paid training is provided.
Schedule:
Sunday – Friday with some Saturdays, 12‑hour shifts starting at 6:00 PM. Hours per week: more than 55 hours.

Deliver SOLOTo in Alabama and Georgia. Route type:
Local Home Daily – Shuttle. Tractor type:
Day Cab. Trailer type:
Dry Van 53’ – Manual and Automatic. Freight:
No Touch – Auto Parts.
Vehicle:
Drivers operate well‑maintained, safe trucks that are 36 months or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide maintenance locations.

- Pass a Ryder drug test, background and motor vehicle check, DOT physical, and road test
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Class A verifiable experience: 9 months within the past 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions, read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check and a road test, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
Responsibilities- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards, maintaining accurate records and logs
- Loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading if required by customer
- Performing other duties as assigned
