Project Manager​/Architectural Designer

Horst Architects is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and design-driven Project Manager / Architectural Designer to join our studio.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented architect or designer who is passionate about residential architecture and enjoys contributing to all phases of the design and construction process—from conceptual design through project completion.

We are looking for a candidate with exceptional design sensibilities, strong graphic communication skills, and the ability to translate ideas into thoughtful, well-executed architectural solutions.

• Minimum 3 years of professional architectural experience, with a strong emphasis on design
• Exceptional architectural design talent and creative problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated experience developing projects from conceptual design through construction documentation
• Strong proficiency in drafting architectural plans and details with minimal supervision
• Professional degree in Architecture
• Excellent graphic, written, and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Photoshop, Twinmotion, and other visualization/rendering software
• Experience in residential architecture preferred
• Knowledge of California building codes preferred
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative studio environment
• Strong organizational skills, personal initiative, and time management abilities
• Professional and reliable interpersonal skills
