Overview
Digital Program Specialist role within the Account Management team. Responsible for supporting client-facing teams for a major Automotive brand, owning and maintaining specific projects and digital programs for Shift Digital's Mazda US account. Focus areas include project management, reporting requests, data analysis, dealer adoption, and identifying opportunities to optimize performance. Also oversees vendor management to fulfill client expectations. This role focuses on our Dealer Website & Inventory Programs and also provides general support for the Mazda US Account Management team.
Job Responsibilities- Support Program Managers on key projects and contractual deliverables. Over time, own projects such as Inventory Program vendor management from inception to final delivery of client expectations.
- Monitor project status (milestones, allocation, open issues) and communicate status with the client as requested.
- Assist in managing project scope, vendors, and client expectations; develop contingency plans if required.
- Assist in managing requirement gathering, project plans, project development, and delivery of new features or functions.
- Collaborate effectively within teams (internal, vendors, agency partners) to prioritize client requests and product requirements.
- Work with the client team to identify new product or data opportunities to improve program value.
- Review and manage dealer performance to ensure high data integrity, address data integration issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Review and manage vendor performance to ensure integration and compliance with program standards and guidelines.
- Coordinate with the dealer support team for important communication initiatives and assist with issue resolution.
- Present ongoing business developments to clients and vendors.
- Project management skills to manage multiple projects while tracking costs against budgets and time to completion.
- Understanding of the digital space, analytics, and delivery of technology solutions.
- Key decision-making skills to provide valuable feedback and recommendations to the client.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
- Functional expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to promote a cooperative team environment.
- Comfortable speaking with and in front of clients and regional representatives.
- Desire to own the success of projects.
- College degree required.
- Automotive experience is strongly desired.
- 2+ years of professional work experience. Digital marketing experience is preferred, but not required.
- Excel skills including Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts (must pass an Excel skills test).
- Experience with Power BI is preferred, but not required.
- Experience with Salesforce is preferred, but not required.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with strong leadership skills.
- Must be extremely detail oriented.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent.
