Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Family Medicine (Laguna Hills)

Flexible Hours | Competitive Pay ($60-$70 per hour) | Established Patient Base

About the Opportunity

Dr. Jeremy La Motte, a respected family medicine physician is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join his Laguna Hills office. This is a wonderful opportunity to step into a full, established patient base and build lasting relationships with patients who are already engaged in their care.

You'll be replacing a recently departed part-time NP, so the schedule is active and ready to go from day one - no ramp-up, no slow start. If you're looking for a practice where you can practice with autonomy while always having a physician available for consultation, this is it.

Schedule

We're looking for 2-4 half days per week, with availability for:

  • Monday afternoons
  • Tuesday and/or Thursday afternoons
  • Friday mornings
  • You pick your schedule!

This role is ideal for a provider seeking work-life balance without sacrificing meaningful clinical work.

What You'll Do
  • Assess patients' needs, order or perform diagnostic tests, interpret results, and provide diagnoses and patient education
  • Order prescriptions and referrals as clinically appropriate
  • Chart visit notes in the EMR in a timely, thorough manner
  • Manage and coordinate care for your assigned patient population with a high degree of clinical independence
Required Qualifications:
  • Current California NP or PA license
  • Unencumbered DEA license (obtainable within 30 days of hire)
  • ACLS/BLS certification
