Part-time Youth Sports Instructor

We are a local woman-owned, parent-led business and part of a national brand with nearly 30 years of experience. We bring more than 20 sports to children ages 1-12 at preschools, daycares, elementary schools and community sites across South Orange County. Non-competitive, play-based, confidence first. Less screen time, more movement.

Two immediate openings for the  school year. You will lead 30-50 minute sports and movement classes for children ages 1-12 using our provided curriculum. You demonstrate skills, run group activities, adapt drills across ages and abilities, and keep every class safe and positive. You will also take class photos for our parent communication platform, build relationships with school staff and parents, and set up and break down light equipment (10-20 lbs).

• $23-33 per hour, depending on experience
• Weekdays, 9:30 AM-12:30 PM and/or 2:30-5:30 PM
• Starts near 10 hours per week with a path to 30+ as the schedule fills
• Optional weekend hours for camps, parties and events
• Paid travel time between sites plus a vehicle stipend

• Live within about 15 minutes of the cities above
• Consistent availability for weekday morning and/or afternoon class blocks
• Experience leading groups of children ages 1-12: teaching, coaching, camp, recreation, youth ministry or classroom
• Physically able to run, jump and demonstrate sports movements
• Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
• Able to communicate clearly in English with children, parents and school staff
• 18 or older, high school diploma or equivalent, U.S. work authorization
• Able to clear a background check and meet California child-safety requirements (Live Scan, CPR/First Aid, TB, immunizations)

• 12 credits in Early Childhood Education ECE.
• A background in kinesiology, exercise science, education or child development.
• Sport-specific skills you can scale down for little kids.
• Comfort with phone photos and social posting.
