Custodial & Maintenance Assistant

The YMCA of Orange County is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We are actively seeking a reliable, skilled, and detail-oriented individual for a part-time Custodial position in Orange County.

This role is an opportunity to directly impact the experience of members and staff by ensuring safe, clean, and well-maintained facilities. This position will look to foster genuine connections, practicing exceptional hospitality, and creating a safe, positive, and enriching environment where every interaction is meaningful. The Custodian works closely with facility and safety teams to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces;

this position ensures programs and events run smoothly and reflects our commitment to quality and community well-being. This role will require monthly checks and service on facility equipment.

Work Schedule:

This is a part-time position. Candidates must be available during the following work hours:

Monday availability is required.

Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PMHours may vary based on operational needs and scheduling requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Age: 18+ years old.

Education & Experience:

H.S. diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience as a custodian preferred.

Certifications:

First Aid and CPR certifications required (training provided and paid for by the YMCA).Benefits & Perks:
