We are looking for
** Process Engineering Technician II
** to join our talented team in beautiful Laguna Niguel, CA.  As a uniquely qualified candidate, you will:
* Work closely with engineering to develop new process parameters, tooling, and methods for manufacturing.
* Executes equipment installation qualifications.
* Work with other technicians/operators to implement assembly techniques, inspection methods and required documentation.
* Work with engineers to streamline process to meet manufacturing build time and yield targets.
* Leverage previous methods/processes/equipment/tooling on new applications.
* Verify components meet specifications through benchtop, functional, and load testing.
* Work with engineers to generate draft work instructions, test methods, and visual standards.
* Supports process characterization by collecting and analyzing data.
* Follow good manufacturing practices (GMP) and company Operating Procedures: line clearance, work instructions, lot travelers, etc.
* Communicate issues to engineering for collaborative continuous improvements.
* Maintain cleanliness of the work environment.
** Education and Experience
*** Minimum 3 years’ experience in medical device manufacturing (catheter assembly preferred)
* Demonstrated ability with typical processes/methods/equipment/tooling related to medical device manufacturing and inspection (catheter manufacturing preferred).
* Able to troubleshoot typical issues on existing processes/methods/equipment/tooling.
* Extremely hands on with strong mechanical aptitude.
* Ability to read engineering drawings and understand inspection requirements.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Knowledge of medical device processing equipment and manufacturing processes (catheter manufacturing preferred).
* General knowledge of some of the following process:
Braiding, Adhesive Bonding, Lamination, Die Bonding, Machining, Injection Molding, Laser Welding.
