As a Security Officer Residential Community Credential Verification in Laguna Niguel, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a residential location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a welcoming environment for residents and guests. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

• Mon 02:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, community policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, authorize visitor access, and document deliveries, vendors, and other authorized traffic entering the location.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while communicating relevant details to supervisors, management, and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the community, including common areas, gates, and perimeter locations, as assigned by site procedures.
• Support security-related operations by observing unusual activity, reporting maintenance or property concerns, and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
