Express Employment Professionals, Laguna Hills, is recruiting for an Accounting Specialist.
Service Line:
Contract up to 6 months
Pay:
Up to $27.00/Hr.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
- Process accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with property tax accounting, including maintaining records and processing related transactions
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
- Prepare journal entries, reports, and account reconciliations
- Record cash receipts and deposits
- Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities
- Respond to internal and external accounting inquiries
- Support special accounting projects as assigned
- Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
- Property tax accounting experience is preferred
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- Experience with payroll is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Reliable and dependable work ethic
