School Assistant / Community & Media Coordinator (Part-Time)
Do you love working with kids? Are you creative, organized, and excited about building community through play, events, and social media? Creative STEAM Academy is looking for a part‑time School Assistant / Community & Media Coordinator to support our campus, students, and vibrant school culture.
About the RoleThis is a dynamic, hands‑on position for someone who enjoys variety and being involved in all aspects of school life. You’ll play an important role in students’ daily experiences—from snack breaks and recess to classroom support—while also helping bring school events and community moments to life.
Responsibilities Include- Setting up and breaking down school events, parties, special assemblies, and celebrations
- Organizing and supporting classroom supplies and teacher needs
- Assisting with student supervision during recess and lunch
- Supporting teachers in classrooms (centers, activities, and transitions)
- Capturing photos and videos for
- Yearbook content
- School social media
- Family communications
- Helping foster and maintain a warm, positive school community
- Someone who genuinely loves working with children
- Creative, energetic, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment
- Interest in social media, photography, or content creation (experience is a plus, but not required)
- Organized, dependable, and a strong team player
- Comfortable engaging with students, staff, and families
- Part‑time
- School‑day hours (with flexibility depending on events and campus needs)
