Primary Purpose of Job
Manages the Branch Service Specialists within the assigned branch. Partners with the Branch Manager to achieve branch goals. When you apply, you'll work with our team to find a branch that's the best fit for you and for ASB within Maui. Teammates hired must be available to travel to Oahu for scheduled trainings, which are covered by ASB.
Major Job Accountabilities- Supervises Branch Service Specialist in a manner that instills teamwork, consistency of service, and a collaborative atmosphere resulting in an outstanding customer experience.
- Accountable for performance management and ensures that teammates are adhering to ASB operational policies and procedures.
- Partners with the Branch Service Specialist Lead to train and develop new tellers.
- Partners with the Branch Manager to achieve Branch performance goals associated with, but not limited to, Customer Service, Sales, Expense & Loss, etc.
- Assumes responsibility for Branch operations in the absence of the Branch Manager.
- Works to build and deepen customer relationships. Identifies product needs and refers customers to other business partners as appropriate.
- Evaluates the Branch's internal controls; reviews and updates policies, procedures and processes to ensure compliance with laws & regulations as well as internal control procedures.
- Provides personalized, in-person education in digital banking solutions.
- Travels between branches for short and long term assignments to provide performance coverage and support based on the business need (Traveling Branch Team only).
- Two (2) years of sales and/or service experience in a financial services firm.
- Working knowledge of bank products, branch operations and banking regulations.
- Excellent customer service/sales skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Able to remain flexible in a fast-paced work environment and adapt to competing priorities.
- Knowledge of and professional experience with bank products is a plus.
- Quantitative skills and passion for data-based decisions.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications is required.
