Salary Range: $14.75 per hour

Provide the highest level of quality and service to our guests in an incredibly friendly atmosphere. Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests at tables in the restaurant.

• Assist in preparing the restaurant for dining service by setting up section, including preparing items such as linens, silverware, and glassware.
• Greet all guests promptly in a warm, personal, friendly manner.
• Guide guests through the menu and provide detailed, accurate information on menu items, including preparation methods, ingredients, allergens, and daily specials.
• Confirm allergy indicators on food orders and follow proper procedures when handling or delivering allergy-sensitive items.
• Maintain active communication with kitchen and management to stay informed on menu changes, 86'd items, allergy notices, and special instructions.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system in a timely manner.
• Monitor guests' dining experience and monitor alcohol consumption to ensure all serving policies are followed. Take appropriate steps according to policies to reduce alcohol-related issues.
• Check guests' identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcohol.
• Maintain awareness of table numbers, guest seat numbers, and dining room sections to ensure accuracy and efficiency in service.
• Serve food and beverages to guests, performing any additional table-side preparation or service as required.
• Describe and recommend wines; present selections with appropriate glasses and pour wine for guests.
• Proactively check in with guests throughout the meal to anticipate and resolve issues before they arise.
• Remove dishes and glasses from tables and take them to the kitchen for cleaning; prepare the table for the next guest.
• Prepare certain hot and cold non-alcoholic beverages for guests.
• Present accurate checks, manage special requests (such as split checks), and process payments efficiently and accurately.
• Assist the entire service team throughout the meal period to ensure all guests’ expectations are exceeded.
• Restock service areas and maintain organized and sanitary workstations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management to support operational needs.
• Report for work on time and uphold expectations for attendance, uniform, and professional conduct. Regular attendance is an essential function of this job.

Six months to one year of related experience preferred.

• Experience with POS systems.
• Certifications & Licenses:
  Must be at least 21 years of age. Must take and pass all training tests with 85% or higher.

• Stand, walk, and move about the restaurant with frequent activity and movement (constant to frequent as indicated in job data).
• Lift and carry up to 11-20 lbs; occasionally 21-50 lbs; push/pull up to 40 lbs.
• Reaching, bending, grasping, and other physical actions required as part of daily duties.
• Frequent use of stairs while carrying items and constant movement around the restaurant.

• Vision (Near, Distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth);
  Sense of hearing, smell, taste, and touch.
• Ability to wear PPE as required (non-slip shoes, back belt if lifting over 25 lbs, safety gloves when using a knife).

Fast-paced, high-energy, moderately noisy environment with multiple personality types. Can become crowded and high pressure due to physical demands and guest expectations.
