Our client is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead a premium retail store experience in Lahaina, HI. This individual will partner closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, support daily operations, and create an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on retail leader with a passion for customer service, visual merchandising, team development, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional customer experiences through personalized service, product expertise, and proactive problem‑solving
- Lead the sales floor during assigned shifts, providing coaching and support to associates in real time
- Support achievement of store sales goals and key performance metrics, including sales, conversion, average order value (AOV), and units per transaction (UPT)
- Build strong customer relationships and gather feedback to help improve the overall shopping experience
- Coach and develop associates on product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer engagement strategies
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, promotional displays, replenishment, and overall store presentation
- Partner with the Store Manager to execute business priorities and support employee engagement initiatives
- Support inventory management activities, including replenishment, cycle counts, shipment processing, and stock organization
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and loss prevention practices
- Analyze store performance and identify opportunities to improve sales, productivity, and customer satisfaction
- 3+ years of retail experience, preferably within specialty, boutique, luxury, gift, home goods, or visual merchandising‑focused environments
- Previous experience in a leadership, keyholder, or supervisory capacity preferred
- Strong customer service and relationship‑building skills
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or developing retail associates
- Strong visual merchandising and store presentation skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced retail environment
- Comfortable using iPads, POS systems, and basic computer applications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite preferred
- Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- May assist with assembling and disassembling merchandise displays and seasonal décor
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the store for extended periods
