This is an hourly position and we offer a comprehensive benefits package (specifics vary based on position and classification).

Fish Cutters are responsible but are not limited to the below:

• Ensuring the seafood cases are well-stocked with fresh, high-quality seafood products for our customers.
• Receive, stock, cut, prepare, wrap, weigh, price, and attractively merchandise seafood department products.
• Proper inventory control and product rotation to maximize product freshness and availability, while minimizing waste.
• Attend the service case.
• Assist customers with special requests, and answer questions about our seafood products.
• Help increase sales by offering product samples and by recommending additional items.
• Fish cutters work with equipment like wrapping machines and knives.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/or carry up to 75 pounds.
• Must successfully pass an apprentice/training program (applies to apprentice only).
• Must have TB clearance.
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements.
