Loss Prevention Officer

Marriott is seeking an on-call Loss Prevention Officer to help protect our guests, associates, and property. In this role, you will patrol hotel areas, monitor CCTV and alarms, and respond to security and safety incidents. You will investigate reports of theft or disturbance, document events, and support emergency procedures. Success in this position requires professionalism, strong observation and communication skills, and a commitment to Marriott's values of respect, integrity, and service excellence within a diverse, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel property to deter theft, vandalism, and safety hazards
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, responding quickly to suspicious activity
• Investigate incidents, complete clear and accurate reports, and preserve evidence
• Support emergency responses, including evacuations and medical incidents
• Control access to restricted areas and ensure key control procedures are followed
• Assist guests and associates with safety concerns while providing courteous service
• Collaborate with hotel management and local authorities when needed
• Follow Marriott safety, security, and privacy policies and procedures
