Delivery Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $14.00 - $23.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums that may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicles: keep them clean, properly maintained, and carry out daily inspections prior to operating.
• Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, handheld devices, and collected monies at all times.
• Pickup customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate any customer problems or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Assist with customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, and other duties as assigned.
• May occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and/or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates.

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record meeting the company’s 14/18-point system.
• Legally required state driver’s license and compliance with company driving eligibility.

• Familiarity with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages;
  Spanish highly desired. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
