Job DescriptionPosition: Field Representative
Duration: 6+ months
Location: 3403 East Vista Boulevard, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830
Requirements: 4-8 years of commercial construction experience (not residential). Candidates must have field experience in a construction environment. No director or executive level candidates, please.
The resource will drive to multiple sites daily. Mileage is reimbursed. Safety gear (glasses, hard hat, vest) provided; work boots must be supplied. Physical requirements include climbing stairs, scaffolding, ladders, maneuvering in confined spaces, and standing for long periods to inspect processes.
The role involves documenting contractor/subcontractor adherence to safety, supervising construction performance across projects, recommending change orders, attending bid reviews, reviewing project drawings and schedules, assisting in utility scheduling, developing schedules of values, reviewing long lead items, liaising between teams, monitoring code compliance, safety, and contract conditions, negotiating changes, reviewing reports, coordinating trades, reviewing pay applications, tracking RFIs, evaluating back charges, preparing punch lists, participating in contractor evaluations, securing close-out documents, and assisting with occupancy certification.
QualificationsPreferred Qualifications: 7+ years of construction supervision or a journeyman's license, or an associate degree with 4+ years of supervision experience. Knowledge of project management, blueprint reading, renovation projects, scheduling, and ability to work third shift if needed.
