Line Cook - Orlando Buena Vista Palace

Overview

The Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace is seeking a Line Cook I to join their culinary team. This 1000+ room property is connected by pedestrian skybridge to Disney Springs® and offers luxury suites and amenities for magical vacations.

• Prepares all food items according to standard recipes and/or as specified on guest check to ensure consistency of product to the guest.
• Visually inspects, selects and uses only food items ideal for cooking in preparation of all menu items.
• Checks and controls the proper storage of product, monitoring age and condition of all food items to rotate and maintain highest quality.
• Keeps all refrigeration equipment, storage and working areas clean and clutter free, complying with Health department regulations.
• Prepares daily requisitions for supplies and food items for production.
• Reads and employs math skills to follow recipes.

• 3-5 years of professional Line Cook experience, experience supporting high-volume operations, strong food safety knowledge, knife skills, and understanding of cooking temperatures.
• A current Serv Safe certification and hotel background are a plus, but not required.

Shift Pattern: Candidates must have open availability to work morning and evening shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. This is a union position.

Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
