Senior Software Engineer; US & GC

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (React) to join a highly collaborative team supporting strategic internal initiatives. This role is a full-stack position with a 70/30 emphasis on front-end development, focused on building scalable, user-centric web applications that enable data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate is a strong React engineer with experience in modern front-end frameworks and tooling, who is comfortable working in Agile environments and collaborating closely with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers. This individual should be ready to contribute immediately and thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

• Lead the design and development of responsive, scalable, and accessible web applications using React and modern front-end technologies.
• Build and maintain reusable, performance-optimized front-end components and libraries.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs using Python and Django to support application functionality.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to translate business requirements into workflows, wireframes, and intuitive user experiences.
• Partner with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to visualize complex data sets and model outputs in actionable formats for internal stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Manage development tasks through JIRA and submit/approve merge requests using Git Lab.
• Implement CI/CD best practices in partnership with Dev Ops teams to ensure seamless deployment and performance.
• Advocate for front-end best practices, including accessibility (a11y), performance optimization, scalability, and maintainability.
• Mentor other engineers and provide leadership in front-end architecture and tool selection.
• Utilize AI development tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, internal AI toolkits) to improve development efficiency and code quality.

• 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on front-end development.
• Strong proficiency in React, Type Script, HTML, and CSS.

Experience with modern front-end frameworks and libraries such as:

• Next.js
• Tailwind CSS
• Tan Stack (Query and Table)
• Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in Python and Django for backend development.
• Experience working in Agile environments with JIRA for ticket management.
• Hands‑on experience using Git Lab for version control and merge requests.
• Strong ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Advanced expertise in React and front-end architecture.
• Strong UI/UX sensibility, including experience implementing Figma designs (wireframes, mockups, user flows).
